EDC Performance-Lim Heng Xin
EDC performed for assembly.

The emcees were rather weak and lacklustre, like u noe..anticlimax? Yeah.

The first play was ok, it was about various people losing their cool. This is like a everyday kind of play, and it sort of relates to teenagers as we tend to get heated easily.

It was rather simple, and i quite liked e stage style. There were the yellow mural boards and colourful chairs. the only downside thing were; Most of the actors/actresses were rather weak and there were too many scene changes. That was a tad confusing.

Michael actually acted a guaikia(good student) omfg. Imagine our reactions when we heard michael handing in homework. So not him! But i tink michael did a much better job than one of the male leads; the guy in red shirt. He was like reading from e script like that you know? Lack of feelings, no emotions.

Then the 2nd one came up... it was..abit..lame. its something about building singapore from scratch. Raffles finding singapore. There were many zhi1 ti3 involved. Kinda like a xingti ju ba. This kind of play should actually be very entertaining de..

But the way their lower secs portray it.. You might tink they were replaying resident evil for us. In other words, lum nua la. Maybe they should have asked cheong may lan join them T_T heh. This was one of e weakest plays.

The 3rd play was the only decent one really. Ok i dint really get what was going on as my attention span was running out. But the acting was well-done, natural and comical. It should be, since its their upper sec members doing it.

Most lower sec actors/actresses had the same problems. They werent daring enough and they really sounded like they were reading from the script! I think it was due to reciting too much plainly from the script and not acting it out together.

All in all, it is actually still pretty much EDC's usual standards. No improve, no deprove either.
